Dionne quintuplets born on May 28, 1934.

Dionne quintuplets are the first quintuplets 

known to survive their infancy. 

Dionne quintuplets remain to this day the only 

female identical set ever recorded. 

Dionne quintuplets sisters were born just outside 

Callander, Ontario, Canada in the village of Corbeil. 

The surviving Dionne quintuplets prefer to be referred 

to as the Dionne sisters instead of Dionne quintuplets.

Dionne quintuplets girls were born two months premature 

with the assistance of Dr. Allan Roy Dafoe and two midwives, 

Madame Legros and Madame Lebel.
