Dawn McCreery was raped and murdered by current death row 

inmate Richard Cooey and his accomplice Clint Dickens. 

Dawn McCreery 's friend, Wendy Offredo was also raped and murdered 

by the pair who raped and murdered Dawn McCreery.

Dawn McCreery and Offredo were abducted after Dickens threw a piece 

of concrete off of an overpass into their windshield. 

Afterwards, Cooey and Dickens pretended to rescue Dawn McCreery and Offredo. 

Cooey and Dickens then kidnapped the women Dawn McCreery and Offredo.

Then they raped Dawn McCreery and Offredo.

Then they stabbed Dawn McCreery and Offredo repeatedly and bludgeoned them.
